Summary

My name is Aldara Prado, I'm a spanish artist and I've been working as a freelance illustrator and comic book author for the last 10 years, working with international publishing houses (Penguin Random House, Casterman) and doing comissions for both public and private clients.
Currently I'm based in Berlin and Barcelona.

I have a Fine Arts degree (UPV-2015) with a specialization in visual narrative and filmmaking, and then I kept studying continuosly. My professional formation since includes screenwritting, comic narrative, light and color and tattooing, all areas I feel very confident working in. I also have notions of Animation and storyboarding.

I have a deep passion for music, videogames and visual narrative. I'd love to be able to participate in projects involving these interests.

I am a polyglot, and I can communicate in the following languages:
- Spanish/Catalan/Galician (native)
- English (high)
- French, Japanese (intermediate)
- German, Italian, Portuguese (basic)

IMPORTANT NOTE 03/2023:
I am currently finishing "NIMUE" a full authorship graphic novel for Casterman (Éditions Gallimard). For this reason I am only accepting commisions and freelance work; however, I would gladly embark into bigger projects in the coming months.
